How does the Series LLC or DST differ from the Wyoming LLC?

• Although of course we are a law firm and could facilitate the Wyoming holding company or hub and spoke type of setup, that typically isn’t our best recommendation. This is because we actually get quite a few investors reaching out with a structure like that already existing and as you can imagine, if each property requires its own LLC, and each LLC has its own EIN number, bank account, separate tax filing, maintenance and compliance...it becomes too rigorous for the average investor to handle. So, they are looking for a better way to streamline the maintenance, a structure that is more cost effective, and the same or better protection. This is where the Series LLC comes in as the best recommendation.
