What are the benefits of a Series LLC?
It offers anonymity, lawsuit protection, compartmentalized liabilities, and it may reduce operating costs and streamline administration.

There are many benefits to forming a Series LLC. However, we find the two most important to be as follows. First, if you are the only owner of your Series LLC, you can choose to files your Series LLC as a disregarded entity. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recognizes sole-proprietorships, and similar single-member entities, in this manner for taxation purposes. This allows you to pay taxes via your personal income taxes, instead of as a corporation. Second, a Series LLC can not only discourage a lawsuit, but also it can prevent one. How? Because you can actually designate an Anonymous Land Trust as the owner of your Series LLC. This means your personal name and address are never publicly linked to your business assets. This makes it very difficult for any lawyer who is considering handling a claim against you. Most will end up rejecting the case.
