Does it cost more to own a traditional LLC or a Series LLC?
With a Series LLC, you incur filing costs only once.
Ultimately, you will pay much more for a traditional LLC if you want the same benefits that a Series LLC provides. This is because you will need to establish multiple traditional LLCs to hold each individual business asset. This means you will need to file an Articles of Organization for each traditional LLC and pay the yearly maintenance fees. However, with a Series LLC, you only need to file once when you register the “parent” Series LLC.
