What is the process for an out of state property transfer?
The process is similar to an in state property transfer. The prior deed must be reviewed and a new deed prepared with the new owner listed as the grantee. One the deed is prepared, the seller will execute the deed in front of a notary. The deed will then be filed and recorded with the county where the property is located.
